Madrasahs, along with maktabs (or kuttab), trace their traditions back through nearly a thousand years of Islamic learning. Till today, they remain the single most vital tool for preserving Prophetic knowledge and cultivating it amongst the masses of the Jamia Islamia Riyazul Uloom Anwa.

Jamia Islamia Riyazul Uloom Anwa Welfare Trust continues to support and strengthen these indispensable institutions. Through subsidies, renovations and sponsorship programmes, the charity has helped establish hundreds of madrassahs and maktabs in recent years, alhamdulillah.

You can support such maktabs and madrassahs through your Sadaqah and Lillah donations. By sponsoring a class or even full a maktab, you can ensure hard-working teachers are paid and the children are given the books and stationery needed to learn.
